Privacy Policy

This policy describes the informational website for a privately operated Google Nest–Scrypted integration and the owner's intended use of the integration.

Purpose

The integration is used by its owner to access and automate the owner's Google Nest devices from a self-hosted Scrypted installation. It is not offered to the general public.

Google account and device data

When the owner authorizes Google Device Access, the integration may access device information and capabilities that the owner explicitly authorizes, such as device status and camera-related functionality, subject to Google's permissions and the Scrypted plugin's configuration. OAuth credentials and device data are handled by the self-hosted Scrypted integration. This informational website does not ask visitors to enter Google credentials or receive OAuth tokens.

Sharing and sale

The website operator does not sell Google account or Nest device data. Device information is used for the owner's home automation purposes, and any processing or sharing by the installed Scrypted software and Google services is governed by their respective software configuration and policies.

Retention and deletion

The owner controls their Scrypted installation and can remove its stored integration configuration. Google account access can also be revoked through the owner's Google Account permissions. Website hosting infrastructure may retain routine technical request logs under the hosting provider's policies.

This page may be updated as the personal integration configuration changes.
